Fancy having a go at DJing? Our one-hour beginner DJ workshop is a fun, hands-on introduction designed especially for young people aged 11–17, with absolutely no previous experience required.
Working in a small group with an experienced Salisbury DJ Academy tutor, you'll get behind the decks and learn some of the core skills involved in DJing, including how the equipment works, cueing tracks, counting beats and bars, basic phrasing and creating your first mix.
We'll provide the professional, club-standard DJ equipment and music – all you need to bring is yourself!
Your workshop includes:
1-hour small-group beginner DJ session
Hands-on experience using professional DJ equipment
Learn the basics of cueing, timing and mixing
Mix tracks for yourself with help from our tutors
Certificate of participation
50% off a future one-to-one studio taster session
